Now imagine someone saying, “OMG just do it already! What is wrong with you! You should really know how to do this by now! Haven’t you seen all these other people walking around? It’s not THAT hard!”

Sounds crazy right? Yet, often when you are learning something new - especially regarding body - you expect to just be able to do it.

I’m here to help you unlearn stories about your body and learn about your capabilities. It’s your birthright to trust your body and feel confident in it.

This work is kind, but not easy.

THE REWRITING YOUR BODY STORY PROCESS

Phase 1

Self Evaluation & Self Motivation through Kindness & Compassion

During our first three Zoom meetings we will take a look at your body history and get clear about your current body story. You will start to learn how to speak to yourself and your body with kindness and compassion focusing on giving yourself your best - not trying to change or fix yourself. We decide on a reasonable and realistic goal to aim for during our time together.

Phase 2

The High Value Triad

These are the exercises that will help you learn to trust your body again and your body trust you again. They will be specifically tailored to you and your goal. You will start with one physical and one emotional exercise to practice until our next call. The last call will leave you with three exercises both physical and emotional that you will continue to practice.

Phase 3

The Greater the Load, the Greater the Learning

We take The High Value Triad exercises and make them a little more challenging. You will start again with the first exercise, but it will be a little bit more difficult - this will help you and your body realize that you are getting stronger both physically and mentally.

Phase 4

Awareness for Autonomy

During our last calls we will focus on Awareness for Autonomy. You will continue to practice the latest exercises with specific intentions and focus. The emphasis will be on how to notice and how to feel things happening in your body without judging them. We will take a look at your body story from our first calls and see what your new story is now. You will have the tools to be the writer of your body story going forward.
